UHL & Associates, Inc.has implemented water resources development and environmental assessment projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America. Uhl has assessed groundwater availability and sustainable development potential for many regions globally and has incorporated climate change impacts into sustainability evaluations. Uhl manages large scale water resource development projects for municipal water supply and irrigation provision in Africa and Asia over large and difficult project areas with project staffs of up to 50 persons.

Innovative and state-of-the-art groundwater exploration and development techniques have been applied in many project areas. For example in our Northern Botswana Groundwater Project, Uhl utilized airborne geophysics to delineate optimal areas for exploration test drilling for a project area the size of Connecticut.

UHL & Associates provides assistance to governments and NGOs in appropriate equipment selection for drilling applications and pumping systems. Uhl has organized the purchase and shipment of drilling and other technical equipment to various parts of the world and have also managed water supply projects in drought stricken areas.
